Sustainability of the worlds resources is the guiding principle to our hardware policy. When purchasing servers we seek non-exploitative providers and low power consumption devices.
When servers reach the end of their useful life they are often re-used as non-critical infrastructure support devices, and we also support our local Freecycle initiative (data is protected - see smelting below).
